We had such a fantastic stay here. The cottage itself was incredibly cosy and had a lovely front garden and rear courtyard. The bedrooms were very spacious and bright.
It's location was perfect - very close to amenities but a short walk up the road and you feel like your in the countryside.
He hosts had great communication and were on hand to help with all of our needs. They made the whole process very easy.
If we ever venture back this way we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and homely cottage! Great distance from town (20min walk) and had access to everything you needed around! Great recommendations for a Sunday dinner! Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy, homely cottage. The location was great, with the pub right next door being a real bonus. The kids loved being able to play in the park, and the pub itself had a great atmosphere and lovely food.
The cottage was exactly as expected everything was clearly explained beforehand and matched the photos. It was cosy and comfortable, and would be perfect for a couple. For our family of four, we did find the space a little tight.
It was a little dusty and bitty in places, although given that it’s an old cottage, this was somewhat expected and didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay.
Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend it, especially for couples looking for a cosy getaway.

I had a lovely stay here with my Sister & Mum. Cosy and cute cottage. Had everything we needed, and lovely location, close to country walks. Easy to get places and to shops. Local pub close by, enjoyed it here thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was cosy and comfortable and the cottage was very clean. Maison Pro were proactive with communication and helpful when we had a short issue with internet which was quickly resolved.
Unfortunately, as it was warm the pub 2 doors down was busy and we could hear patrons throughout the evening and into the night. We had trouble finding a parking space on one evening but other than that, managed to park outside the cottage.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the 3 off us were comfortable in the cottage.

Lovely cottage . Ideal location for popular places to visit. Fantastic pub next door with fantastic food and lovely friendly staff . Nice and local to supermarkets and also the park which is great for kids with Tennis courts and various activities. We will definitely return .

The cottage was beautiful, very clean and cool due to lovely stone floors.
A fan was sourced for us because of the hot weather. Beds really comfortable and a good shower.
5 mins to Tesco Express .
Bus stop within easy reach to Stroud.
Stratford Park has a beautiful woodland walk which was wonderful and cool in the hot weather. A lovely cafe too.
No fault of the owners but was a shame the Lido was being refurbished.
I can also recommend The Carpenters Arms with a gorgeous view and delicious food , a bus ride in the opposite direction to Stroud.
I actually took an Uber there but returned walking down the hill, about 8 mins to the bus stop. The nearest pub ,The Old Crown next door also had good food.
I can highly recommend this cottage and my 2 friends and dog hope to return.

This was a lovely cottage, very pretty, roses over the door and a sweet front garden and courtyard. Inside, it was comfortable and clean. There was a pub very close to the cottage which was noisy, particularly on a warm night. But the cottage was convenient and charming. A handy place to stay.

We stayed for a wedding so did not spend much time in the cottage, but enjoyed it nonetheless! It is next door to a good pub and a 3 min walk to a local tesco. The property is cosy and has everything you need. We especially appreciated the milk in the fridge for our morning tea :-). The host was very helpful and was very communicative. Checkin and out was easy. Thanks for a great stay!

I stayed here for work, but found the cottage to be nice and comfortable. Really near the local pub where you can eat and a local Tesco shop in walking distance. All very good.

Fantastic stay in this small cottage. really clean, easy to find, good location.
Lots of towels provided and accommodation was well furnished. very comfortable beds.

Lovely couple of nights stay for a friends wedding nearby. Cosy, homely space, with everything you need

A gorgeous cottage in a great location. Tesco 5 min walk away, pub 2 doors down. Great hikes for all abilities nearby with lots of free parking. The cottage was immaculate and nice touches with tea coffee and milk. Great communication from host up to the stay and during. Note the street parking is limited on the weekend but we managed. Thanks so much for a great stay

Great stay! Information prior to the trip was clearly explained and check-in was straight forward!

Cosy little cottage - stone floors downstairs so don't forget your slippers! Not a huge sofa in the living area but fine for us as it was just two of us. The place is pristine, like a hotel.

nice cottage. don't go if you have mobility issues. steep stairs. could have done with another comfy chair. relaxed sitting only caters for 3 which was fine for us as we were a party of 3 but a 4th person wasn't catered for
for
nice touch left water and milk in fridge washing up liquid and tea and coffee. lovely pub 2 doors away.

Great spot. Very well located 30mins to Cirencester and 30mins to Gloucester. Really nice house, very cosy. Really enjoyed my stay.

Had a great stay. The place was very homely and they kindly supplied everything we needed for a fun time. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the fireplace was stocked, towels and linen all clean. We had an amazing time and Stroud is very beautiful and dog friendly!

Lovely peaceful cottage, close to lots of things. definitely recommend. Only downside is that it could do with a proper deep clean as it was clear it was mostly basic surface cleaning. I ended up buying anti-bac stuff to wipe things down. Host was great and responsive though.

Comfortable cottage in a quiet location. Kitchen was adequate, could have done with a bit more crockery but we didn't need to use it very much. Central heating made the cottage cosy. Could have done with an extra armchair in the living room to be properly comfortable, especially for more than two people. Shower worked well. Would stay there again.

Exactly what it says and the other reviews reflect it! Great host and a great stay.

Beautiful home with incredibly comfortable beds. The fireplace was well stocked with wood to create a very nice ambience along with the christmas tree provided. There wasn't anything we'd ask for from the host as the place was nicely stocked and well thought out.
The pub next door was quite nice and the owner was very friendly.

Such a cozy cottage. We had a delightful stay. Very close to an array of beautiful Cotswold villages.

First time to the UK and we wanted to stay in an old property.
This place ticked all the boxes and the description matched the reality.
It was an amazing cute stone house and the location 20 steps from the Pub was a bonus.
We arrived to the property in the dark and it was raining but the clear instructions on where to park and get the keys made it easy.
Would recommend to stay here.
You just need to realise there are lots of stairs to reach the top bedroom.

Situated in a lovely area, easy location for the local shop and lots to do within walking distance.

Stayed here with my family for a week, it was a good place with highlights being the big main bed and spacious room, as well as having a second separate twin room. The washing machine was malfunctioning during our stay which meant we had to find a laundrette which was annoying but reported to owners so hopefully fixed now

Characterful cottage close to local amenities. We enjoyed our stay and found the cottage was well equipped for our needs and the bedrooms comfortable.
The property is located next door, but one to a good local pub where we had one of our evening meals. It was also within walking distance of a small Tesco and it was an easy base for our day spent walking.
The only downside was the cramped downstairs area. As is typical with properties of this age, the ceiling heights were low. This would have mattered less if there was sufficient comfortable seating for the number of guests, but with only a two seater sofa, there wasn’t enough to go around. A small armchair would easily fit and this prevented us all from feeling fulling relaxed in the evenings (3 of us in a 4 bed cottage). The cottage was clean, but some of the decor is tired with patches of peeling paint. There’s also a smell of stale smoke from previous guests and some of the soft furnishings were very dusty.

The cottage is so lovely and with the fireplace a cozy retreat.
A pub is nearby if you fancy a drink.
If you want to visit other places in the Cotswolds, Stroud is a perfekt starting point.

Fantastic walks
Great to take your furry friends
Local shop and easy access to Stroud
Such a quaint cottage

The cottage was ideal for a couple of days stay.
There were 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and we found the beds and rooms large enough to move around.
Lounge area small but then that was to be expected being a cottage.
Whole cottage was spotless with beds made.
Small amount of local literature with things to do and places to eat.
Roadside parking was easy.

Lovely cottage next to a friendly village pub. The walk in to the centre of Stroud takes about 20 mins.

Lovely cottage for a few days away- right next to the pub as well as nice to go on walks. Other towns are just a drive away with lots to do as well!

Cozy and beautiful home! Great location too, quiet but not too far from things. Overall lovely stay!

Lovely little cottage with original features.
Very clean, neat and tidy. Feels very 'countrified', considering its location on the outskirts of Stroud. Good pub and shop on the doorstep.
This was an excellent base for us, in our aim to explore the villages, history and countryside of the area.

Gorgeous house, great location. Very clean and every amenity you’d want.
The only draw back for us with small children (1 and 3) was the stairs as they were steep and the second flight being uncarpeted were a worry.

Beautiful quaint cottage with loads of character. If you like historic homes, you’ll love this place. Quiet area with a lovely pub a few doors down.

This is a quaint 2 bed cottage which suited our family group of 4 adults very well. Close to local amenities and an ideal base for exploring South Gloucestershire. We really enjoyed sitting in the back yard for sunny breakfasts and then in the front garden for evening drinks. The old lounge was lovely and cool in the very hot weather. We appreciated the quick response to our queries. Would happily stay here again.

A great little cottage with a convenient Tesco Express only a few mins walk away and the pub just next door.
The welcome items in the fridge (bottles of cold water & milk for a cup of tea) were greatly appreciated on such a hot arrival day.
Although the rules say no smoking inside, there was a lingering smell of cigarettes from previous occupants, which is such a shame.
Otherwise, a perfect little B&B.

We enjoyed our first mini break with our dog in this area.
A great location and a lovely cottage for a few days.
The third floor bedroom has steep steps so you need to be careful but they made the cottage’s history stand out.
A very enjoyable stay thanks.
