Hill House – Country House Retreat

Wonderful stay - house is beautiful set in big gardens with incredible view over Severn valley. All comfortable and we enjoyed being there very much.

Lovely place, perfect for big groups.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my mum's 60th birthday. The house and the surrounding grounds were exquisite, and we were even greeted by deer grazing in the meadow each morning. It was so tranquil and cozy to stay here. The house was beautifully furnished, and the property itself is stunning. My dad even compared it to an "Omaze" competition house! 😂 We will definitely be looking to return!

Spent a lovely few days with family at Hill House (6 adults and 2 children). The setting is very beautiful - great gardens and grounds. In close proximity to local villages and places of interest. Bedrooms all very spacious and comfortable and the house is as described. We had a fun stay and enjoyed our family weekend away.

Amazing place to stay! Great communication. Lets us check in slightly earlier for no charge which was great. If you’re planning to work WiFi is hit and miss around the property. Doesn’t really work upstairs.
Would recommend this place massively! Hope to return soon.

Great house, and very pleasant !

We had a great stay at Hill House for a 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration weekend with family. The house was beautiful, with stunning views and all the amenities that we needed. The kids had a great time running around the amazing garden, and the adults enjoyed drinks in the patio during golden hour! We could have stayed for a week! The hosts were very good with communication and the welcome booklet was very useful. The house is conveniently located near Coaley Woods, so we went for a walk around the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back in the future! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. Truly one of a kind type property. Incredible garden which is well-kept and the views from it are breathtaking. The inside is spacious, clean, and modern. The team communicated incredibly well before, during, and after our stay. The driveway to the property can be somewhat tricky to find so drive slowly and the wifi was slow at times with 8 people using it but they in no way take away from the beauty of this Airbnb. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. Hill House is a lovely home in a wonderful location.

The space (lounge/kitchen/dining room) all being in one large area was perfect for our group of parents and babies! The location, views, grounds were ideal for us. The hosts were quick to resolve a few issues in the house too.
A notes if you're staying here plan what you're going to eat with the following in mind - the Aga takes a long time to heat, and the small coutertop oven and electric hobs weren't big enough to cook for a group of 8 and the pots/pans weren't big enough for a group of 8.

Large space suitable for a group of friends with kids aged 9-14. Lovely clean and characterful house with excellent outside space and fantastic views. We had a fantastic time

Such a beautiful house and setting. Could have stayed far longer. A really lovely place to gather with friends or family. Our kids loved the cat who wanders the garden. Wonderful memories made!

Hill House definitely didn’t disappoint and was even better than described!
A beautiful property with amazing views and very well located to explore the surrounding Cotswolds.
We had 3 generations of family including our 2 dogs coming together for a few days and everyone was very happy and comfortable!
Will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

Lovely large, light family area, great outside space and lovely bedrooms. All was perfect

The house is perfect for hosting groups and the setting is spectacular. Nice local pub and walks plus a short drive to towns. Great for dogs and families.

Wonderful, well-kept home with views down to the Severn. We enjoyed its proximity to Stroud and many nice walks in the Cotswolds. An excellent place to base yourself while exploring this area!
