Latest Reviews for The Barn

The house was an incredible place to stay for the weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout the weekend whenever we did need to contact them. If I was being nit picky there was one or two strange pictures hung up in the house which isn’t to deter at all, they are easily taken down if you don’t like them and put back up. The floorboards are also very creaky which again doesn’t matter but is good to know. The stay at the house was very good and would definitely recommend.

Thank you so much for making our anniversary weekend so special, fantastic location and a beautiful home. Had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay this weekend. The place was spotlessly clean and tidy and the bed was so comfy. The host Helen was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely little place. Had a very relaxing weekend here. Great communication and instructions from the hosts.

Very welcoming space.
Felt right at home, and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.
What’s better is that the barn is dog friendly, and my pooch definitely made himself at home.
The bed is comfortable, the space is clean, and the overall experience was pleasant.
The only downfalls would be
1. There isn’t a shower (only a small shower head attached to the side of the bath)
2. As much as it is dog friendly, there isn’t an enclosed area for your pooch to be able to roam out safely. This was stated, and said in the summer a bit would be fenced off privately.
Dominic was a lovely host.. I accidentally locked the keys in the barn, and he went above and beyond to bring more keys to the property- he was easy to contact and very friendly.
The barn is located close to amenities.
If you do bring your fury friend, I found a pet shop in Tetbury that’s deffo worth a visit. ‘The Tetbury pet shop’. 30 mins by car.
Thank you for being a wonderful host.

Great place with beautiful walks and local pubs. Dominic was very responsive. Had a lovely time!

This air BnB was perfect for what we needed as we were staying to watch the fireworks at Cattle Country farm. Not a lot to do in Dursley but a little out of the way for the heart of the Cotswolds. Slight weak spot in the kitchen floor boards but over all a great stay and the host provided a great online guidebook. Would stay again x

Loved staying there. Super cozy. Great location for some hilly walks and garden centre just around the corner with stunning views. Nice to have some proper coffee as well and a french press to make it in! Thanks for that 🙏

We had a wonderful time at Dominic's place. Dursely is a good starting point to explore the Cotswolds. The barn had everything you need to have a pleasent stay. Dominic was a great host, always responsive and friendly.

Lovely little cottage. Very comfortable sofa and bed. Very peaceful at night, no traffic noise. Amenities good. We couldn’t find a teaspoon to make a coffee with and no outdoor bin to put rubbish in so took it with us. (Unless we just didn’t look in the right place). Some lovely places to visit. Overall an enjoyable stay and would recommend to others. Thank you 😁

Place was easy to find and the description was spot on, only downside was no shower, but as the bath was in the corner of the eves in the roof you can understand why. It is in a very quiet place, struggled to park 2 largish cars but we managed.

A lovely cottage near the Cotswolds. I would note that the garden isn’t enclosed and no grass for if you’re visiting with dogs.

Lovely couple of days in the area and plenty of beautiful sites nearby, the accommodation was cosy, well spaced and comfortable, only thing some extra kitchen utensils would have been helpful such a sharp cutting knife but overall a fantastic stay, many thanks

Pleasant stay at the accommodation, the location was minutes away from the town centre with a big Tesco and a pizzeria whose food was tasty and very affordable. The Cottage had all the amenities and was a peaceful and tranquil location.

We found The Barn a great place and very well kitted out for our weekend break. Good dog walks from The Barn although a car is needed to get around. There is lots to do locally and can recommend the Gravity Fish & Chip shop in Dursley if you have time. Would book again.
