Latest Reviews for The Haven

A fantastic couple of days spent here with old school friends from 30 years ago. Cottage was very clean, cosy and very well situated.

This is a very nice quiet place to stay if you would like a holiday with town facilities bordering the Cotswolds.
A number of the internal doors don't actually latch shut, so pets or small children can go anywhere. The convention is not to say negative things unless they are really significant, which these were not.

Lovely stay at this home.
Great location
Great property with everything youd want for a comfortable stay
Host is proactive and friendly
Would definitely stay again

Overall a nice property with some quirky art and design choices. Lots in the area to enjoy with a good location. Clean and well equipped with nice outdoor areas, however, in the very hot weather upstairs was a bit stuffy.
We noticed the lack of hanging space and bedside tables in some of the bedrooms.

Comfortable, convenient accommodation close to the centre of Dursley. Thoughtful inclusions, attractive decoration. Welcoming hosts. Comfortable during extremely hot weather.

Lovely little cottage for a weekend whilst attending a wedding in the area. All the facilities you need.

The property is as described in the photos and, it is in a beautiful location. The property was clean and the host is very helpful and responsive.
Thank you for having us, we would 100% recommend and would stay again.

Great stay! The place is very centrally located with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s spacious, well-maintained, and exactly as described — would definitely stay again.

Lovely home.
Very clean
It had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend in the Cotswolds

Lovely cottage, which was a couple of minutes walk from Dursley high street.
Very comfortable and well equipped.
The courtyard back garden wasn’t huge but was big enough for our dogs.
The Bank cafe in Dursley was dog friendly and served lovely food.

Really clean and peaceful stay in a lovely town. The hosts were very informative and provided clear, easy instructions throughout. Parking right next to the property was also a big plus.
Overall, a smooth and comfortable experience, would definitely recommend!

Host was very informative leading up to the stay. Upon arrival check in was easy and the cottage was pristine.
Bathroom was lush with a fab shower.
We were men’s to take a dog but sadly didn’t and the host kindly refunded the deposit.
Lovely pub in the village and a fab Italian.
Our visit was for badminton horse trials. Easy commute to the event
Would recommend staying

Beautiful cottage very close to the main amenities of Dursley. Parking for two cars. A great find. We would have no hesitation rebooking when we are back in the area visiting family.

We have stayed here a number of times and will continue to stay wherever possible.

Great stay here. Good accommodation for part 2 of Cotswolds Way. Easy to get to and from each days walk. The accommodation had everything we needed.

Just back from a lovely stay at The Haven. The host was very helpful and communicative.
Very comfy bed and enjoyed lying in bed listening to the church bells toll. Very close to the town with off street parking which is an added bonus for such a central location.
We walked a section of the Cotswold Way from the cottage and also drove out to the Forest of Dean (an hour away) for a non muddy long forest trail walk.
Perfect way to unwind after a days out … nice soak in the luxurious bath tub - definitely a highlight for me!
Our fur-iends enjoyed the enclosed front garden.

We had a wonderful two night stay, the house was easy to access and felt very welcoming. We had everything we needed. The location is brilliant, just minutes to the town and with views of the church.
We’ve never been to Dursley before, we found it to be a really sweet town. We would recommend the Bank Cafe, which is dog friendly. We also had a fantastic takeaway from The Everest, Nepalese restaurant.
Thank you for a relaxing family weekend away.

No. 1 Broadwell Terrace was home from home. Clean, well equipped, comfortable and cosy, just off the main road running through Dursley but very peaceful and in a pleasant neighbourhood. Generous private parking, enough room for two cars. Plenty of good old fashioned shops, butchers, hardware, cobblers, a couple of pubs (we had a Sunday roast at The Old Spot Inn - highly recommend with a brilliant choice of real ales) and The Hoptician looked interesting and was lively on Saturday night! Saturday night fish and chip takeaway from Gravity was good too.
Easy access into the property via a key box and the owners were easily contactable and very responsive to a query about the central heating! We had a relaxing two nights at Broadwell Terrace and wouldn't hesitate to return if in the area again.

lovely place with character, great bathroom and kitchen, close to the center of Dursley

my first words were "I'd buy this house". kitchen well equipped (don't mention the frying pan!) bathroom spacious, could do with a pedestal basin surround, three well proportioned bedrooms but lacks a wardrobe or two (hanging space). would consider a re visit.

Spacious, clean and comfortable house in a good location for exploring the area and/or walking the Cotswold Way. Good outside space and pet friendly.

A beautiful home in the heart of a beautiful town, there is parking for 2 cars on the driveway. The house is tucked away on a quiet street making it feel peaceful, and yet is less than 5 minutes to the heart of town.
The pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s a beautiful place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here for a couple of days. Lovely cottage, stylishly decorated, comfortable and walkable to shops and amazing coffee shop- The Bank!

This is a lovely cottage in the centre of town but hidden in a side street. Beautiful view of the church and hills in the distance and very well decorated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this pretty cottage. The description of the property was one double bedroom and two twin rooms but there was actually two double bedrooms which was great. All the rooms are charming and beautifully presented with plenty of space and everything provided. The outside space is lovely and private so very pleasant for sitting out. The cottage is very centrally located in Dursley so everything is on the doorstep. We'll definitely be back - thank you.

Have stayed here a few times now, lovely place, really recommend this lovely house

A lovely cottage feel, and very appealing from the outside. The location is quiet and feels out of the way from the main town, but still in walking distance. Inside, the bedrooms are a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The sitting room is a nice size and the bathroom was modern.
The hosts were communicative and the guide provided before the stay gave local knowledge/recommendations.
We had issues with the cleanliness/general maintenance of the property which we reported privately to the host. They were very responsive to our concerns and we felt they truly took on our feedback.
Overall, this property is good and could be excellent with a thorough clean and some TLC in places.

Booked for 3 engineers… Great place, so accommodating. Will book again if available

Rustige en prettige plek om te verblijven. We liepen de Cotswold Way en dit was een prachtige plek om tot rust te komen. Het bad was heerlijk na een lange wandeling. Verder was alles er en hebben we goed geslapen.

Excellent AirBnB. As described - clean, comfortable, well stocked. Would highly recommend

Great location in the centre of Dursley. Super easy check in / check out with the key in a coded safe box
