Great spot to stay in Stroud ⭐️

The old post office look’s tiny from the front but is surprisingly spacious inside. Yes the bathroom is small but modern and functional, as is the kitchen. The old post office has everything you need, although my wife said she couldn’t find an ironing board. It’s clean and comfortable, the area is quiet and neighbours and passers by were very friendly and chatty. We really enjoyed our stay

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Old Post Office in Stroud, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the impeccable cleanliness throughout the accommodation. Every corner was spotless, reflecting the owners' commitment to maintaining a pristine environment. This attention to detail made me feel right at home and allowed me to relax fully during my stay.
The internal design of the Old Post Office is simply stunning. The blend of traditional charm with modern touches creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing both comfort and style. Each room features thoughtful decor, highlighting the building’s rich history while incorporating contemporary elements that enhance the overall aesthetic.

This was a great little place. Please be aware that it is near the top of a hill. We were happy to walk into town and back and could manage the hills fine, but some people may wish to drive instead.

Superleuk huisje , alles aanwezig . Mooie omgeving en goede locatie om de Cotswold te ontdekken. Enige minpunt is dat er weinig ruimte is voor eigen spullen maar verder perfect

I had a lovely stay here. The area is very peaceful and right next to the common, which has beautiful views. It was easy to find and very accessible with parking right outside on the street- spaces were easy to find. The walk into Stroud is not very long, and also it seems easy to park in the town, so getting around was straightforward. Supermarket and station are not far so this is great option for being close to both the town centre and nature. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything I needed, I would have happily stayed longer. I appreciated the efficient and welcoming communication from the host and highly recommended this place!

The house is well equipped, it was very clean, and the communication was great. The only down side is that the bed in the downstairs room is very creaky and noisy, and the mattress isn’t the comfiest.
Good location, and fine for 4 guests if you’re not really planning to spend too much time there as it’s quite a small space.
It was a boiling hot weekend but thankfully the aircon in the sitting room helped, and they provided 2 fans. We brought our own tower fan from home which we used in the attic room, so unsure if the fan they provided would have been as good, but it’s great they provide one as it was 27c + in the attic at 9pm.

Great place to cover the whole Cotswolds! Cozy with all amenities, well equipped kitchen, free street parking and amazing views. Will love to stay again!

Feels Like Home.

We are very happy to have discovered this lovely little place for future stopovers. Everything checked out fine and communication was brilliant.

This little charming place has great views and you can park close . It’s an ingenious use of small space . Kitchen neat /tight as is shower and bathroom . Caution tho it’s easy to bang into radiator and the downstairs bedframe has edges which easy to collide with . Heating very effective and quick . Two great pubs nearby and Stroud is a lovely place . Upstairs bunkhouse is very low headspace - but there is a real charm about the place .

We had a lovely stay! Great communication and very easy to check in and settle in. The upstairs bedroom was quite cramped with low ceilings and bed on the floor, but we didn’t mind particularly. Might be worth noting for very tall people or those with any mobility issues. Everything worked perfectly and we enjoyed our time there. The bathroom is very small but new and clean and shower was excellent. TV is large and has lots of channels available. Overall very nice for a few nights whilst visiting family nearby. Thank you !

A great place to be, near to Stroud. The mini split keeps it nice and warm. A good choice if you are visiting Stroud.

Great location for walks and exploring the area.

My wife and I visited for a couple of nights over the Christmas break with our dog and the stay was exactly what we’d hoped for. Cosy accommodation, good location with views of the valley and accessible walking routes. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very clean and nicely furnished place, responsive communication and easy to find and get in. Comfy beds and very warm once you get the heating going! It's quite compact, though it was fine for us as two adults and two children. The top bedroom is very restricted on head space, you can only sit down, but it is very cosy! Handy location for Stroud and Nailsworth, very quiet and parking is on the street but was very easy to find a space (though don't try and park at 3 as all the school parents take up space then, they're gone after ten minutes or so though). Massive ALDI at the bottom of the hill which is very handy for shopping.

Great stay whilst I visited my family in UK. The place had all the basic amenities and was spot on. Great friendly neighbors and really felt like home. We come here often so I would choose this place again if it’s ever available when I return!

Lovely place, definitely recommend

Great place for Stroud and the Cotswolds. There was much more we could have done and would happily return to the area - would love to explore Stroud itself more too. We had great autumn weather which helped. The house was convenient, well furnished and we really appreciated the provision of a basic starter pack of milk/tea/coffee and water. Both beds were very comfortable and the living room is spacious. The listing clearly said that the bedroom upstairs was restricted in height so we were expecting that - there is a small area just inside the door where you can stand upright, otherwise need to stoop. We hadn't appreciated how much my Mum (she's a physically able, petite octagenarian) would struggle with the very narrow bathroom and tight angles in the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise, great base for a holiday. We found parking either outside or a little bit further up the road easily.

The Old Post Office was in a brilliant location and was very close to Stroud - if you’re here on a Saturday, definitely spend some time at the market!
The house itself was clean and tidy, and was a good base for our weekend away.
We found it was better equipped for a two person stay, but managed to work it for four people for a couple of days. It was also a big bonus for us to be able to bring the dog along.

We had a great stay at The Old Post Office! Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property was lovely and cosy and the facilities were great! The guide left was very helpful with recommendations for pubs, walks and things to do! A great hidden gem was recommended and we got to go and watch the sunset along side the free roaming cattle (I didn’t need the sunset to get me up there, the cows alone were worth it!). 10/10 we would absolutely stay again :)

We had a very comfortable stay at the Old Post Office. It was perfect for our needs and location with a very responsive host. The only reason I haven’t rated it a five star overall is that the shower had to be replaced, twice, during our stay. This was a slight inconvenience but very grateful to the host for replacing it. We would stay again of course.

Mansion Pro’s property was cosy and comfortable for small group of people. Great views and surroundings even for few days , made us felt like a holiday.

Excellent host. Avoid trying to park at end of school day, otherwise parking on the road relatively easy. Compact little house but very comfortable and clean. Dog friendly, but maybe not so much if your dog is 13 and wobbly!

Salle de séjour, cuisine et chambre au rez-de-chaussée très agréables, salle d'eau et chambre à l'étage étroits. Belle décoration et génial si vous avez un chien puisque il aura son propre lit et espace pour dormir ! Très bel emplacement, parfait pour découvrir les Cotswolds.
